You have no idea how grateful I am that someone else actually likes Garble and thinks the best of him much like I do. I've always had personal respect for the dragon dude, especially since I used to hate anything related to My Little Pony. He reminds me of some of the friends I have in real life. They might seem like assholes on the outside, but once you make yourself at home and join the Hoard, they're not that bad at the end of the raid. i.imgur.com/pFZ4xTo.jpg Even if my art is shit, It's shit with emotions, dang nabbit.
He kinda stuck his neck out for Spike, but couldn't risk losing face in the end. Garble's clearly the leader of the group and didn't have to give Spike any of the chances he'd given him. Look at it from his point of view; some twerp strolls up to your group and wants to be a part of it. Along the way you find out he's a bit of a freak. Of course you're gonna mess around with him. It's all in good fun anyway.
Spike managed to impress the group with both his determination and by taking a very hard fall and not cry like a little b*tch. They partied and were cool. Then there was the raid, which from our point of view may be terrible, but from a dragon's point of view may very well not be. I doubt that the teens were truly evil, they were just being dumb teens, possibly mixed with a general indifference to other creatures. (a common trait among humans as well)
You know, had this actually remained, I wouldn't have had a single issue with it. I'm looking forward to seeing "My Large Dragon" primere on the HUB... too bad that's not going to happen, I'm certainly not impressed either.
Remind me to never ask the Wonderbolts for a haircut, no matter how badly they plead. They didn't do a very good job there, now did they? I wonder how Spitfire would react to the Punk Mohawk she just gave the dragon.
