Meet Jasper. Since she hates that name, friends know her as Jazz. She is a conspicuous teenager. Boys are ridiculously nice to her and ascribe all kinds of virtues to her, due to her good looks and dainty mannerisms. She is known to be picture perfect at all times. The other dragonesses, including her close friends, think she's a manipulative fake. In reality, she is just a normal teen, with a relatively uneventful, one could even say boring, life. She cares about her appearance and what her peers think, she thinks about boys and of course her parents don't understand her at all.
She knows little to nothing about her various reputations. Basically, nobody's real around her, all because of the assumptions they make. She mostly seems oblivious, though sometimes she seems to know more than she lets on. How much she really knows, nobody knows.
Possible scenarios with Jazz:
Jazz: "Hi girls!"
Jazz is now out of earshot
One of the girls: "she's so fake!"
The other girls nod.
Garble and crew are hanging with a new guy.
Jazz passes them by.
New guy: "I'd roll her over like a boulder, if you know what I mean"
Garble: "What did you just say?"
New guy: "..."
Garble or one of his friends: "one does not roll Jazz over like a boulder."
They start cracking their fists.
Jazz is wearing the same flower she's wearing every day.
One of her friends walks up with the same flower. Neither of them wear anything else.
Friend: "Great! One of us has to change... "
The older girls (the ones I drew before) overhear some teenage dragonesses saying Jazz is trying to be the new Ivory (Ivory being the white alpha dragoness)
Ivory gets mad and confronts Jazz.
Ivory: "Word in the crater is you're trying to be the new me."
Jazz: "What are you talking about, I could never..."
Ivory: "Y'know, if you're gonna say something, at least be a dragon and own your words."
Jazz: "But, I..."
Ivory: "Pathetic! You're lucky I'm nice. Let's go, girls!"
